AirFarm is the world’s first inflatable farm. It allows food production anytime, anywhere.
The technology used converts air humidity into water in real time, in addition to recirculating the moisture produced by crops back to the roots, becoming the first farm in the world that operates without water infrastructure.
Notably, it reduces water requirements by 99% relative to traditional farming and 90% relative to vertical farming competitors.

As part of Abu Dhabi University’s (ADU) Innovate Strategy (ADUi) efforts focused on accelerating sustainable and innovative agricultural solutions, ADU inaugurated its first on-campus AirFarm, an inflatable and portable farm, in collaboration with Midbar, a smart ag-tech South Korean company and H.E. Rashed Bin Khalfan Al Mutawa Al Dhaheri Holding company (RBK).
